Over the past year the recently opened Woodward at Copper, a 20,000-square-foot, state of the art ski, skate, and snowboard training facility at the base of Colorado’s Copper Mountain, has been earning a solid reputation as a kid-friendly camp/resource dedicated to park and pipe progression.

The indoor (funhouse) facility houses ski and skate ramps, trampolines, foam pits, and skate bowls, all geared too teach “aerial awareness” to young daredevils in a “safe and controlled environment.”

“‘The consequences are not as severe if you lose control in a spinning trick and come down on your head in here,’ said Phoebe Mills, the Barn’s program manager. She punctuated her point with a double flip into the foam pit,” reports Helen Olsson of The New York Times.

One-day winter programs are offered for $199. Summer weeklong (day and overnight) ski and snowboard camps start at $1,399. Weeklong skateboard camps start at $729.
